The organization partners with Freeset Bags & Apparel and other Freeset brand entities around the globe to achieve this mission.  Freeset exists to offer employment to people who've been marginalized by society.  Freeset provides customized, promotional products for organizations, sales conferences and promotional events.  Freeset USA promotes job creation by selling products manufactured by Freeset women in a sustainable manner in US markets. Freeset USA acts as an independent yet collaborative distributor for Freeset global, communicating the mission, vision and story of Freeset, as well as generating sales for Freeset products.  Beyond support the business, Freeset USA also seeks opportunities to advance the cause of freedom through strategic partnerships, fundraising, knowledge development and advocacy on behalf of victims of human trafficking.  

Position Overview: 

Freeset USA is seeking a strong leader for its US sales operations. The person must be able to communicate the cause of Freeset USA with potential customers, generate new business development opportunities and manage existing client opportunities and relationships. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping women out of exploitation and who understands the impact of Freeset USA, despite being far removed from the women we are helping, in funding the project and being able to employ more women out of prostitution.   Being a broadly connected organization, we need a person with strong communication and collaboration skills; someone who is flexible and organized to be able to effectively lead the US sales team. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Own responsibility for the outbound sales and profits generated through sales of Freesetbags & apparel in the US 
  • Work closely with the Freeset Director of Global Sales and Marketing and CEO of Freeset USA to develop and implement sales strategies in the US, establish sales objectives and develop projections of sales volumes and profits for existing and new products
  • Focus on key B2B archetypes: Decorators and Promo & Events while exploring growth potential in archetypes: Corporate Consumables and Packaging
  • Focus largely on outbound sales opportunities while managing new inbound sales activities
  • Implement national sales program and develop field sales action plans
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply-demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Work with the Customer Care team to create, send and manage customer quotes in an efficient and effective manner
  • Manage contacts and leads using the existing CRM platform (PipeDrive)

Qualification and Experience 

  • BA or BS in Business or a related field or at least 4 years of experience is desired, especially experience in sales, non-profit management, administration, and marketing 
  • Proficient use of computers, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; excellent people skills
  • Ability to think strategically and critically, and to identify and maximize limited resources
  • Motivated individual, who takes initiative and seeks to find solutions to problems
  • Experience working in an international organization and/or non-profit preferred
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, the mission, vision and values of FreesetUSA
